This basic toolkit can help local governments plan for green infrastructure to address stormwater runoff, urban heat islands, air quality, economic development and other sustainability goals. This toolkit also is designed to bridge the gap between the innovative professional design community and local governments that have not yet established policies to promote green infrastructure.
